Mother Goddess Yoga Workshop with Nubia Teixeira
TriDevi and the Cycles of Nature: A journey of honoring and reimagining the feminine in yoga
This class is for all levels and all genders.
The presence of the Sacred Feminine has been a guiding force in all ancient traditions. Her symbols, artifacts, teachings, and blessings have been discovered in every culture across time.
In this workshop, Nubia will guide you through a yoga sadhana infused with the imagery, symbology, and power of the Mother Goddess. This afternoon’s practices weave together asana, pranayama, visualization, mantra, mudra, incantation, and more—a tapestry of potent traditional techniques interlaced with Nubia’s own artistic innovations, born of decades of immersion in Yoga and Odissi, the classical dance of India.
What you will learn & receive:
The sacred trilogy of the TriDevi and their connection to the cycles of nature.
Philosophical foundations rooted in Bhakti to the Divine Mother and Shaktism, honoring Her as both Guru and Source of Life.
Hatha Yoga postures and practices designed to awaken qualities of devotion, nourishment, and empowerment.
